“Recognizable Gourmet Food in Abundance”... best describes The Festive Kitchen’s wide variety of cuisine, as illustrated by a seven-page hors d’Oeuvres list.
Sandy Korem, The Festive Kitchen’s owner personally customizes each client’s menu. A native of Louisiana, who is self-taught in the culinary arts, Sandy uses her love of food to present entrees ranging from “the best you’ve ever eaten” chicken-fried steak bar to pecan crusted salmon filets.
Traveling abroad for 10 years, Sandy has studied regional foods in 12 countries, and attended courses at Le Cordon Bleu and Ritz Escoffier in Paris.
Often assisting Sandy on large events, is The Festive Kitchen’s Executive Chef, Raymond Tipps. Classically trained in Paris, Mr. Tipps was a visiting chef for President George H.W. Bush in Washington, as well as on Air Force One. Mrs. Korem and Chef Tipps have both recently been honored recipients of the Presidential White House Food Service Medallion.
